Comms for
teams building
in the real world.

I’m a fractional head of communications working with companies building the New Industrial Economy — the technologies, systems, and infrastructure shaping how the physical world actually works.

I’m an operator that brings 10+ years of experience across startups and agencies, including leading Product and Industry Communications at Flexport during a period of rapid growth and change. I specialize in launching complex products, bridging internal and external narratives, and establishing trust with leadership to surface what actually matters and move it forward with clarity.

People call me Cate the Great because I get to the root of the problem quickly and execute consistently. I’m direct, pragmatic, and I believe clarity is kindness.

Current and past clients: Bedrock Robotics, Terminal Industries, Peregrine Technologies, Nauta Technologies, Range Energy, Parallel Systems, Nirvana Insurance, and more.
